SEO Settings
Introduction
SEO Settings configure search engine optimization and social media preview settings for your brand. These settings control how your payment pages appear in search results and when shared on social platforms.
Access SEO Settings from Brand Settings → SEO to optimize your online visibility and social sharing appearance.
Meta Description
A brief, compelling description of your business shown in search engine results.
Where it appears:
- Google search results (below your site title)
- Bing and other search engines
- Meta description tag in page HTML
Character limit:
Keep under 160 characters for optimal display in search results.
Longer descriptions may be truncated with "..." in search results.
Best practices:
- Summarize what your business offers
- Include primary keywords naturally
- Make it compelling to encourage clicks
- Write for humans, not just search engines
- Avoid keyword stuffing
Example:
"Accept payments online with UddoktaPay. Fast, secure payment processing for businesses in Bangladesh. Multiple payment methods supported."
SEO Keywords
Keywords representing your business focus and services.
Format:
Comma-separated list of relevant keywords.
Example:payments, invoices, uddoktapay, digital wallet, online payments, bangladesh
Usage:
- Helps search engines understand your business
- Improves relevance for search queries
- Supports content categorization
Selection tips:
- Include your business name
- Add service-related terms
- Consider location keywords if relevant
- Use terms customers search for
- Avoid unrelated or spam keywords
Recommended count:
5-10 focused keywords work better than 20+ generic ones.
Social Media Sharing
Configure preview images when your links are shared on social platforms.
Facebook/LinkedIn Image
Preview image appearing when links shared on Facebook and LinkedIn.
Recommended size:
1200 × 630 pixels
Where it appears:
- Facebook post link previews
- LinkedIn shared links
- WhatsApp link previews
- Other platforms using Open Graph protocol
